Wakeboarder - Sasha Christian
Singapore-born Sasha Christian starting waterskiing with her family when she was three, but switched to wakeboarding at five.
At age 11 Sasha became Singapore’s top female wakeboarder when she scooped bronze in the Asian Championships in China. A string of successes followed with silver medals impressively collected in the 2006, 2008 and 2009 championships.
After competing in several World Cups and winning medals in major wakeboarding championships, Sasha became Singapore’s first Red Bull athlete in 2010. The same year she also took home the Mettle Games wakeboard championship title in Singapore, followed by a gold medal at the 2011 SEA Games Womens Wakeboard event in Sumatra.

Sasha continues in her quest to “do my best, ride smart and stay safe.” In between entering countless events on the southeast Asian wakeboarding competition calendar and training at Bedok Reservoir, she can be found jamming on the guitar, or improving her culinary talents in the kitchen!
Sasha has committed to dedicate herself entirely to wakeboarding and slalom skiing and started training full-time at the beginning of 2014. She has been inspired by the words of surfing legend Frosty Hesson: "Your peace comes from knowing you’ve done all the things you could have done. That’s why you don’t shortcut your training." Sasha is a young woman truly committed to her passion!
