Malaysia Swimmer - Leong Mun Yee
Leong Mun Yee (born 4 December 1984 in Perak, Malaysia) is a Malaysian diver. At the 2012 Summer Olympics, she competed in the 10 m platform synchronised event with her partner Pandelela Rinong.
She participated in three other Olympic Games: 2000 (3m springboard, 10m platform), 2004(3m springboard, 10m platform) and 2008 (3m springboard, 3m springboard synchronised). Her appearance at the 2008 Summer Olympics made her the first Malaysian diver to compete at three Olympics.
The bronze medal that she and Rinong won at the 2009 World Championships was the first World Championship medal for Malaysia.
She and Cheong Jun Hoong competed in the 10 m platform synchronised event at the 2014 Commonwealth Games.
She was originally a swimmer but switched to diving at the age of 10 as part of Malaysia's programme to prepare a diving team for the 1998 Commonwealth Games.
